Graph Edit Plus is a complete utility that could be very useful if you work on developing applications with DirectShow. It is a tool that can: edit various graphs at the same time, load and save GRF files, connect all available graphs remotely, render multimedia files and URLs, and insert filters into each file.

Once you have built your graph, you can examine the event log to see what steps have been followed or changes that have happened from the start. Also, when you have finished, with Graph Edit Plus you can generate the source code in C++ or in C#. In it will be included all the definitions of filters and actions done. And if you need to edit the code, you can do so via the Graph Edit Plus templates.

NOTE: For Graph Edit Plus to work correctly you need to install Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or later.
